Description

The .284 Winchester cartridge has experienced a recent resurgence in F-Class competition, where shooters compete to distances out to 1,000 m/yards. Members of the US Rifle Team, which Lapua sponsors, will enjoy having brass readily available in this classic cartridge. The .284 Winchester’s rebated rim design enables a larger powder column, yet easily functions through medium length actions making this cartridge case very desirable for custom rifles. Its accuracy potential and high muzzle velocity is also recognized in hunting fields where this cartridge performs  nicely on a very wide scale.

Lapua’s .284 Winchester case takes the Large Rifle Primer (LRP). It will soon be available in the new cardboard 100 pcs Lapua brass box. The brand new case box has been designed to keep Lapua brass in pristine condition during shipping, ensuring that your reloading experience is on the best level.

Lapua reloading brass is the best choice for demanding handloaders.

The base, body and neck of Lapua brass have been designed to maintain exact tolerances over multiple reloading cycles.
Advanced metallurgical research and manufacturing techniques ensure that our cases are leaders in uniformity and quality.

The base of the case.

The Lapua case heads are drawn exceptionally hard for unmatched reloadability and for an exceptionally long-life cycle to serve top shooters time and time again. The brass dimensions remain constant and will hold primers tight in their pockets even after many reloadings.

The brass body.

The brass body section of Lapua cases is hard and resilient for unmatched durability. It is easy to extract after firing, whether the reloader opts for full sizing or neck sizing only.

The case neck.

Strict tolerances in concentricity and wall thickness are used in manufacturing of the case neck. The neck and shoulder of Lapua cases are annealed to withstand repeated reloading.
