K+M Neck Turner Pilot Jack

R380.00

The Pilot Jack is used to assist setting the pilot position to achieve the proper cut into the case shoulder when using the K+M Micro-Adjustable Neck Turner

Description

The Pilot Jack is a slick little device that clamps onto the bottom of the neck turner body which incorporates a thumb screw that butts against the shank end of the pilot which in turn allows you to easily meter the position of the pilot when setting the tool up. The position of the pilot is important because the case mouth bottoms on the step that is ground into the pilot, which is the physical stop for how far you turn into the shoulder.

Installation:

Install the Pilot Jack on the bottom edge of the Neck Turner body and tighten the clamp screw.

The thumb screw aligns to the shank end of the pilot and allows for easy positioning of the pilot in the neck turner body during the set-up phase.

Once the pilot has been set up, remove the pilot jack before using the neck turner tool.
