The 30 Caliber 205 Grain Elite Hunter is purpose-built for hunters seeking a mid-to-heavy Rifle Bullet solution for their 30 Nosler, 300 Win Mag, 300 Ultra Mags, 300 PRC, and other 30 caliber long-range hunting platforms. Elite Hunters utilize Berger’s industry-leading hybrid ogive design, which blends tangent and secant designs to optimize efficiency, reduce wind-drift, and minimize sensitivity to seating depth. Their sleek profile features an ultra-high ballistic coefficient (BC) and increased sectional density, delivering the highest energy retention upon impact. Elite Hunters are easy to load and shoot, and provide unmatched accuracy and performance.

Our Elite Hunter rifle bullets also incorporate a slightly thinner J4 Precision hunting jacket, which allows the projectile to penetrate 2″ to 3″ before rapidly expanding. Upon expansion, the projectile sheds most of its weight producing extreme hydrostatic shock and a massive wound cavity in the vital area. Berger Elite Hunter bullets dump their energy where it is most effective, inside the animal. Animals drop quickly, with most immediately going into shock after such trauma. Berger Elite Hunter Rifle Bullets

Berger Elite Hunter Rifle Bullets utilize their industry-leading hybrid ogive, which blends tangent and secant designs to optimize efficiency, reduce wind-drift, and minimize sensitivity to seating depth.

Elite Hunter Rifle Bullets are identical in construction, shape and performance to the Berger Hybrid Target series, except they utilize a thinner J4 Precision Jacket for rapid expansion on game animals.

Elite Hunters are designed to penetrate 2-3″ into the vitals and then begin to expand and create a massive wound cavity up to 15″.

This delivers maximum organ/tissue damage and extreme hydrostatic shock aiding in an ethical kill.

Elite Hunter Features

Hybrid Ogive
Hybrid Ogives blend the best aspects of tangent and secant nose shapes into one ogive. Near the bearing surface, the shape starts off as a tangent, which makes it easy to tune, then transitions to a secant ogive, which results in a flatter trajectory and less wind drift.
